Hotwire Partners With TripIt on Travel Plan Sharing

Hotwire and TripIt, the trip management company, have announced a partnership to help travelers more easily organize and share their travel plans online.

After booking travel on Hotwire.com, travelers will be able to click a new “Add To TripIt” button and automatically have their travel plans added to a free TripIt itinerary. TripIt itineraries are easy to customize with other travel plans, as well as weather, maps, directions, activities, events, reservations, notes and photos.

They can be accessed online, from mobile phones, personal calendars and social networking sites. Travelers can also easily share and collaborate on TripIt itineraries with their family, friends and fellow travelers.

Hotwire will also be offering the new TripIt Pro premium service to frequent travelers. TripIt Pro automatically monitors TripIt itineraries, provides mobile alerts, alternate flight options, frequent traveler program tracking and automated trip sharing.
