Tourism ministry bags PATA gold awards

The tourism ministry has bagged two prestigious Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) gold awards this year.

"It has been declared the winner of two awards in the marketing media - Travel Advertisement Broadcast Media and Travel Poster category," Tourism Minister Kumari Selja said here today while speaking at the inauguration session of overseas marketing meet.

"It is very encouraging for us that our efforts are being recognized internationally and this motivates us to go forward and achieve new heights", she said.

PATA aims to promote the sustainable development of tourism in the Asia Pacific region.
