Malaysian tourism minister to open Malaysia pavilion at World Expo

Kuala LumpurMalaysian Tourism Minister Ng Yen Yen will open the Malaysia pavilion at the Expo 2010 Shanghai, China on May 1, 2010.

The Malaysian Tourism Ministry said in a statement here on Wednesday that Malaysia has lined up a number of activities for the duration of the expo running from May 1 to October 31.

Among the activities are cultural performances, business seminars, visual art exhibition, presentations and talks, cooking demonstrations, and lucky draws.

The statement said that visitors to the Malaysia pavilion would have the chance to buy various Malaysian handicrafts, art products and souvenirs.
