Tourism for Tomorrow Awards deadline extended

The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) is pleased to confirm that the application deadline for the Tourism for Tomorrow Awards 2010 entries, co-sponsored by Travelport and The Leading Travel Companies’ Conservation Foundation, has been extended until Monday, December 14, 2009.

Last week, WTTC announced that its annual Global Travel & Tourism Summit will be held from May 25-27, 2010 in Beijing, China. The Tourism for Tomorrow Awards have been an integral part of the summit for the past five years, and as the summit dates next year are later than usual in the WTTC events calendar, this has allowed WTTC to extend the awards deadline.

Winners and finalists of the awards will be publicly recognized and will meet government and industry leaders at the awards ceremony during the Global Travel & Tourism Summit.
