The topic of social media has cemented its place on the agenda of almost every conference, seminar and forum within the business travel sector.
The importance of Facebook and Twitter, user reviews and instant messaging mean different things to the different generations - the Xs being those born before 1977 and assumed to be less in touch with technology, and the Ys, those born after 1977, the PDA carrying, Youtube-watching Tweeters.
