Hotels.com Founders Launch Getaroom.com Website

20/07/2009 11:24

Bob Diener and David Litman, the founders of Hotels.com and pioneers of the online hotel industry, have launched www.getaroom.com. The new company said that with money-saving non-published rates, travelers booking accommodations with getaroom.com get the benefits of opaque pricing without being kept in the dark about where they will be sleeping.

The company provides travelers three ways to save money every time they travel. Getaroom.com provides discounts up to 50 percent off regular rates every day. It also offers special non-published rates.

Offered at most properties, the discounts are an additional 10 percent to 50 percent in savings. It also offers deals of the day. These are select properties that featured daily in the Deals of the Day program, enabling travelers to save an additional 15 percent to 40 percent off their accommodations compared to internet rates offered by other websites.
