Corinthia Hotels announces the re-launch of its luxury hotel in St. Petersburg, Russia

Corinthia Hotels announced the re-launch of its refurbished and extended 400-bedroom luxury hotel on Nevskij Prospect in St Petersburg, Russia, having more bedrooms and more facilities under one roof than any other luxury hotel in the City.

 

Her Excellency the Governor of St Petersburg, Valentina Matvienko, officially inaugurated the new hotel at a grand opening ceremony on Monday May, 25.

His Excellency Professor Guido de Marco, President Emeritus of Malta, Mr Alfred Pisani, Founder and Chairman of Corinthia Hotels and Mr Vadim Tulpanov, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of St Petersburg, also presided over the grand ceremony, at which several dignitaries from Russia and overseas attended.

The Corinthia Nevskij Palace Hotel was acquired as an operating hotel in 2002 by International Hotel Investments (IHI) plc, a Malta-based hotel investment, development and management company, which owns and manages Corinthia Hotels worldwide. At the time, IHI also acquired the vacant grand properties on either side of the Hotel on the city’s main boulevard.
