Bogota Marriott Hotel Opens in Colombia

Marriott International, Inc. announced that the Bogota Marriott Hotel in Colombia has opened.

The hotel is Marriott's first branded hotel in Colombia, and is operated under a franchise agreement with Real Hotels & Resorts, a subsidiary of Grupo Poma of El Salvador. The Bogota hotel offers 224 rooms and 15 suites, and is conveniently located within a 10-minute drive of Bogota's El Dorado International Airport. The hotel's state-of-the-art architectural and interior design concept was created by the firm of Miguel Soto Casas y Cia.

"We are thrilled to partner with Real Hotel & Resorts to open our first Marriott Hotel in Colombia," said Chuck Kelley, executive vice president for Marriott International in the Caribbean & Latin America. "We are confident that this hotel will be highly successful, and play a role in the continued emergence of Colombia as a leading economy in Latin America."
