Air Malta launches mobile phone check-in

2009-08-10 19:21

Passengers travelling with or without baggage can now easily check-in and select their seat onboard Air Malta flights through their internet-enabled mobile phones. With this new technology Air Malta is making checking-in for flights even easier for its customers.

Air Malta passengers can now login onto www.mobile-airmalta.com from their mobile phone as early as 23 hours and up to 2 hours prior the scheduled departure time. Passengers can check in for their flight simply by entering their name and flight number and have their bar-coded boarding pass delivered to their mobile phone in an image format. Apart from being able to choose their seat on board the aircraft, passengers can go through the airport formalities prior to entering the restricted area at the departure gates simply by displaying the boarding card image on their mobile phone.
