Air France-KLM: strike hits services
13/11/2008 16:16
Air France-KLM services will be decimated this weekend after French pilots unions called for a four-day strike.
Unions voted for industrial action to protest against plans to make employees work until the age of 65.
Half of the airline’s medium and long-haul flights from Paris will be cancelled when the walkout starts at midnight tonight.
The action could be prolonged if cabin crew unions decide to join the fight on Monday. They also face an increase in retirement age.
